At the end of November 2019, the steel structure new national stadium, the main venue of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, was officially completed. After many bidding, over budget and redesign, the scheme designed by the architects Kuma and Taisei construction team was successfully implemented.

The main structure of the stand is reinforced concrete and steel reinforced concrete structure, with damping between local columns and steel reinforced concrete inclined beam, forming a relatively stable anti side structure as a whole. The cantilevered end of the roof is a circle of trusses. Through the slight arching of the roof, a certain shape resistance ability is obtained, which effectively reduces the vertical displacement under constant, live and snow.
