Fire prevention: Fire prevention is a key issue in the process of plant construction. When a fire occurs, it is necessary to ensure that the roofing materials do not catch fire. Normally metal roofing materials do not burn, and flames do not penetrate metal roofing panels.


Anti-seepage: Mainly to prevent rainwater from seeping into metal roof panels from outside, especially in rainy season, local anti-seepage work must be done well. Rainwater usually enters the metal roof by lapping gaps or joints. In order to prevent seepage and achieve the function of anti-seepage, it is necessary to use hidden fixing after sealing gasket is used at the screw opening, sealant or welding is used at the overlap of the plate, preferably long plate to eliminate overlap, and waterproof treatment with tight abdominal distension at various joints. If the anti-seepage work is not done well, the plant may encounter water leakage problems in various places in the future use process, so we must take precautions.


Bearing: Bearing construction load, rainwater, dust, snow pressure, maintenance load. The load-bearing performance of metal roof panel is related to the section characteristics of the plate, the strength and thickness of the material, the mode of force transmission and the spacing of purlin (sub purlin).


Insulation: To prevent heat transfer on both sides of the metal roof, so that the indoor temperature is stable. The thermal insulation function is realized by filling the thermal insulation material under the metal roof panel. The thermal insulation effect is expressed in U value, in W/M2K. The thermal insulation performance is determined by the following factors: the raw material, density and thickness of thermal insulation cotton; the humidity of thermal insulation cotton; the connection mode between metal roof panel and underlying structure; and the thermal radiation repeatability of metal roof layer. Plant thermal insulation is an important part of the use function, so the requirements for roof design will be improved.


Daylighting: Improve indoor lighting through skylights during the day to save energy. In order to arrange daylighting panels or glasses in specific positions of metal roofs, the service life of skylights should be coordinated with metal roofs, and waterproofing treatment should be done at the joint of skylights and metal roofs.


Anti-avalanche: This is a problem that is easily overlooked by everyone, so it is necessary to set up a snow barrier on the metal roof of the snowfall area to prevent the sudden fall of snow.
