Steel structure according to its structure type and different construction conditions, can choose high - altitude assembling method, integral installation method or high - altitude sliding method for installation. Hoisting method is as follows:

 

High altitude assembly method:

 

The steel structure is installed by assembling method in high altitude, which is to set up assembling bracket at the design position first, and then use a crane to hang the structural member parts to the design position in the air, and assemble on the bracket. This method sometimes does not need large lifting equipment, but the amount of assembling support, high altitude work. Therefore, it is suitable for high strength bolt connection, steel structure made of section steel or steel pipe structure made of bolt ball joints, and there are still some steel structures constructed in this way.

 

Integral installation method:

 

The overall installation method is to assemble the structure on the ground as a whole, and then use the lifting equipment to lift the whole to the design position to be fixed. This construction method does not need tall assembling bracket, less aerial work, easy to ensure the welding quality, but the need for large lifting equipment, technology is more complex. Therefore, this method is suitable for the steel structures with spherical joints (especially the structures with more rods such as three-way structures). According to the different equipment used, the overall installation method is divided into multi-machine lifting method, rod lifting method, jack lifting method and jacking method.
