The crane beam shall meet the requirements:
(1) Butt welds of upper and lower flange plates generally require the use of straight seam butt welding of automatic welding, and require penetration welding. When the butt weld of summer flanges is in the range of 1/3 of the span, it is appropriate to use 45O ~ 55O oblique joint butt;
(2) The flange or web factory splicing joint should not be located on the same section, should try to stagger more than 200mm, joint location should be located in the span of about 1/3 to 1/4 beam from the support; For the butt weld of the horizontal and horizontal beam direction of the web, T cross can also be used for cross, T cross, the distance of the crossing point shall not be less than 200mm; When the splicing weld intersects with the stiffener, the stiffener and web joint fillet weld should be interrupted, and the distance between its end and the splicing weld is about 50mm.
(3) The arc starting plate chosen for butt weld must be the same as the material and thickness of the base metal, and the form of the section should be the same as the base metal. For the connection between crane beam and brake structure, heavy duty crane beam should be connected with high strength bolt, while light and intermediate crane beam can be welded on site. Suspension equipment parts shall not be welded on the tension flanges of the crane beam, and the connection between the tension flanges of the crane beam and the horizontal support shall be bolted and shall not be welded.
