1. Preventive measures for falling from high altitude

Tools commonly used during installation, such as torque wrenches, crowbars, and Angle grinders, must use safety ropes to prevent falls. The bolt gasket should be placed in the tool bag. All tools that may cause falls during construction should be removed or secured. Measures should be taken to prevent falling metals, beads or sparks from gas cutting or electric welding at high altitudes from causing casualties.

 

2. Preventive measures against falling objects injuring people

Many tools, bolts and other tools carried by high altitude workers should be placed in special tool bags, regardless of the transmission of any items at high altitude, should be hung up the safety rope, not casually thrown, in order to prevent casualties. During hoisting, no piecemeal items shall be piled or hung on the components. All piecemeal items shall be transferred up and down in special bags. The binding of the component must be firm, and the lifting point should pass through the center of gravity of the component. When lifting, it should be kept stable to avoid vibration or swing. Before the components are pulled or fixed, the lifting rigging shall not be untied, otherwise the components fall and cause casualties. For the lifting of steel beams, since the steel beams are irregular I-steels and the binding points are easy to slip, a special steel plate δ=14mm thick steel connecting plate for lifting the suspension points is specially made, and bolts are used to fix the upper string of the steel beams. For lifting members, the speed should not be too fast, and can not stay in the air for too long, are strictly prohibited to rise and fall sharply, in order to prevent members from falling off. After the installation of components, the connection and stability of all components should be checked, and when the connection is sure to be safe and reliable, the hook can be loosened and the cable can be unloaded. It is necessary to tie the slip rope and control its direction when hoisting the high altitude docking component. When working in rainy weather, necessary anti-skid measures should be taken, and adequate lighting should be ensured when working at night.
