● Design principles

● Support form and layout principle between columns

The column bracing of steel structure workshop generally consists of three parts: the lower column bracing and the lower column tie bar set from the crane beam or crane truss to the column foot; The upper column support set between the crane beam or crane truss and the lower chord of the roof truss; Vertical supports and upper and lower tie bars within the height range of roof truss ends. The form of upper column support is generally cross, herringbone, splay, etc; The form of lower column support is generally cross shaped, herringbone, etc. The support position between the lower column shall be set in the middle of the temperature section as far as possible. The upper column support shall be set at both ends of the temperature section in addition to the column spacing with the lower column support.



● Section form and calculation of support between columns

1. Section form selection. The column bracing of steel structure workshop is divided into single piece bracing and double piece bracing. The better the section is selected, the higher the stability of the support bar. When a single piece of support is used, a single unequal angle steel is generally used, and the short side is connected with the column, or two angle steels are used to form a T-shaped section. When double piece support is used, the long side of two unequal angle steel or the section composed of two equal angle steel is generally used to connect with the column. When the internal force of the support is large, the section composed of I-steel or U-steel can be used, and the two single pieces of support should be connected by tie rods.


2. Internal force calculation of bracing between columns. The longitudinal horizontal force acting on the bracing between columns includes longitudinal wind load, longitudinal horizontal load of crane and other horizontal loads. Longitudinal wind load: concentrated wind load W transmitted from gable at both ends of the house; Standard value of longitudinal horizontal load of crane Td; Other horizontal loads H acting on the longitudinal direction of the house. When two or more inter column supports are set, all longitudinal horizontal loads of the column column are shared by all inter column supports of the column column.


3. Slenderness ratio checking calculation of support bar. The section size of the supporting members between the columns of the steel structure workshop can be determined by calculation, and the slenderness ratio shall be checked and calculated. The slenderness ratio shall not exceed the allowable value specified in the specification.
