Horizontal support of roof and inter-column support are an integral whole, which jointly maintain the stability of the structure and transmit the longitudinal horizontal load through the horizontal support of roof to the foundation through inter-column support.
In order to ensure that the transmission path of the longitudinal load on the structural gable is short and fast, the lateral horizontal support of the roof should be set in the opening of the two ends of the temperature section of the building in order to directly transfer the load on the gable. If the first bay can not be set, it can be set in the second bay, but it must be noted that the corresponding transfer of horizontal load in the first bay should be designed as a pressure bar. When the building or temperature expansion section is long, one or more horizontal supports should be added, and the spacing should not be greater than 60m.
In buildings, when column spacing is different, or when the high and low span of the building changes, vertical horizontal bracing should be set to improve the integrity of the structure, adjust the distribution of lateral stiffness of the structure, in order to reduce the difference of lateral horizontal displacement of each column of the rigid frame, and make the structure stress uniform and reasonable. When the layout of the building is irregular, if there are local protrusions and concave, pulling out columns and so on, in order to improve the overall lateral resistance of the structure, the vertical and horizontal closed continuous horizontal bracing system should be set up in the above areas.
When setting up the support system, the pressure bar must be set at the roof and the top of the column and the construction of the joints should be paid attention to to to ensure the transmission of horizontal force.
