In order to make the steel structure engineering to meet the requirements of anti-corrosion, spray painting and galvanizing technology are generally used. We are not unfamiliar with spray painting, so this paper introduces its galvanizing technology.

Galvanizing technology in steel structure engineering is generally divided into hot dip galvanizing and hot spray galvanizing according to different processes:

Hot dip galvanizing (hot dip galvanizing): the process and method of immersing pretreated steel members in molten zinc bath to form zinc and zinc iron alloy coating on their surface.

Hot spray galvanizing (zinc spraying): the process and method of spraying zinc wire to the surface of steel components by high-speed air flow to form zinc coating.

No matter what kind of galvanizing process, its prerequisite is that grease, edge burr, welding slag and spatter are completely removed from the surface of components, and there are no residual cutting notch, weld notch, deep undercut, unwrapped fillet weld and other appearance defects.
