Base surface cleaning:

1. Before painting, check whether the fabrication and installation of grid members are qualified. Before painting, the rust, weld coating, welding spatter, oil stain, dust and other sundries at the parts to be painted shall be cleaned.

2. In order to ensure the coating quality, after the bolt balls and rods are made into finished products, a multi direction automatic shot blasting machine is used for shot blasting. The rust removal method is to use the pressure of compressed air to continuously impact the surface of the grid members with steel shot. The traces of rolling scale, rust and attachments on the surface of the members have been spot or strip shaped slight stains, showing uniform metallic luster.

Primer application:

1. Mix the anti-rust paint, control the viscosity, consistency and thinness of the paint, and fully stir the paint to make the color and viscosity of the paint uniform.

2. When brushing a layer of primer, the brushing direction shall be consistent and the joint shall be neat.

3. The principle of frequent touch and short brush shall be adopted to prevent the brush from falling down due to too much paint.

4. After the first coat is dry, the second coat shall be applied, and the direction of the second coat shall be perpendicular to the direction of the first coat, so that the film thickness will be uniform.

5. Mark the components according to the original number after painting; The weight, center position and positioning mark of major components shall also be indicated.

Finish painting:

1. The finishing coat shall be applied after the completion of on-site installation. Similarly, the surface of grid members, dust and other sundries shall be treated before the finishing coat is applied.

2. The top coat shall be prepared in the same color. The general thinner shall be appropriate. The top coat shall be fully stirred before use to maintain uniform color. Its working viscosity and consistency shall ensure no sagging and brush lines during painting.

3. The finishing coat shall be continuously mixed during painting, and the painting method and direction shall be the same as that of the primer.
