Hot-rolled H-beam is widely used in building structure, marine structure, temporary bridge construction structure, factory partition, site assembly. Compared with welded steel plate girders, it reduces processing procedures, saves labor and time, and has good mechanical properties. It is found that using large hot rolled H-beams instead of traditional welded I-beams only has a few welds in the connecting positions of stiffening ribs and cross beams, which reduces the cost of construction. The research contents include the research of reasonable structure form, bearing capacity of structure, application technology of large hot rolled H-beam, rapid construction and erection technology, etc.
Hot-rolled H-section composite beams with large specifications are replaced by traditional welded steel plate beams by hot-rolled H-section steel, which can significantly reduce the cost of construction and conform to the concept of sustainable development. Large-scale hot-rolled H-beam technology can improve the industrialization level of bridge construction, and it is a new technology in line with the industrial policy of energy saving and environmental protection.
