Gutter refers to the concave part between the two crotches of the building roof, which collects rainwater from the roof on the building roof. Gutter drainage refers to the use of gutters to drain rainwater outside the roof. Roof drainage is divided into organized drainage and unorganized drainage (free drainage). Organized drainage generally collects rainwater into the gutter and then is discharged by the rainwater pipe. The gutter that gathers rainwater is called gutter. Gutter is divided into internal gutter and external gutter. Internal gutter refers to the gutter within the external wall, generally with parapet; external gutter refers to the gutter out of the external wall, generally without parapet.

Stainless steel gutter on metal roof refers to the concave groove which can collect rainwater in the concave part of the metal roof when the metal plate is used as the waterproof roof on the top of the building, and can discharge rainwater through the drainage pipe system. Generally, stainless steel plate is used to make a "U" shaped or rectangular drainage system, which is called stainless steel gutter.
