The application of light steel structure in pharmaceutical factory has been more and more widely, which solves the problems that should be paid attention to in the use of building structure, constant temperature, fire prevention, explosion-proof, waterproof measures and so on, reflects its advantages, and is worth promoting.

The necessary condition of GMP refers to the clean workshop with a certain degree of cleanliness. Its characteristics are that the architectural design should consider the flexibility of plane and spatial layout

1. There are many small rooms and many doors and windows in the clean area of the steel structure medicine workshop warehouse. The main structure should not use the thick inner wall to bear the load, but should use the large space and large-span column grid.

2. The material selection of the enclosure structure of the steel structure pharmaceutical factory warehouse should meet the requirements of heat preservation, heat insulation, fire prevention, moisture-proof and less dust production.

3. The external wall of the explosion-proof clean workshop of the steel structure medicine workshop warehouse shall be made of light materials, with the weight of no more than 120kg per square meter, so as to meet the explosion relief requirements.

4. In order to reduce the dust and ensure the air cleanliness in the area, it is better not to set deformation joints in the steel structure medicine workshop warehouse.

5. All kinds of pipes are not allowed to pass through the clean area of the steel structure medicine workshop warehouse, so it is necessary to set up the technical interlayer.

The section of light steel structure is small, and the steel strength decreases with the increase of temperature. When the temperature reaches a certain height, it will lose the bearing capacity. Therefore, fire prevention measures must be considered in the design to make the steel members meet the requirements of fire resistance. According to the code for fire protection design of buildings (gbj16-87) (2001 Edition), the fire resistance rating of pharmaceutical industrial buildings is generally grade II, which requires that the fire resistance rating of single-layer workshop columns and beams reach 2 h and 1.5 h respectively, while the fire resistance rating of steel columns and beams without fire retardant coating protection only reaches 0.25 h, which does not meet the requirements of fire protection code. Therefore, fire protection and heat insulation measures must be taken, and fire retardant coating is often used in design. According to article 2.0.5 of the code for fire protection, if it is difficult to use load-bearing members (generally referred to as roof truss) with a fire resistance limit of not less than 0.5h, metal members without protective layer can be used for the roof of buildings with grade II fire resistance rating.
