1. When the roof slope is small, the modulus of bending section of Z-purlin is slightly larger than that of C-purlin, but the difference is not significant. When the roof slope increases, the modulus utilization ratio of bending section of Z-purlin symmetrical to the vertical direction increases. Therefore, Z-purlin is suitable for roofs with large slopes.

2. There is no big difference between Z-type purlin and C-type purlin for wall.

3. If purlins want to be continuous members, Z-shaped purlins are easy to overlap.
